A Black Jesus

Racism has gone to the absurd. Now some are contending that Jesus was a black man. It would not matter to me if Jesus had been purple, green or some other. Since He was the Son of God that shed His blood for the salvation of mankind, what difference does it make what color was His skin? Only a twisted mind overcome with racism would even suggest such a thing as a Black Virgin, a Black Jesus.

Jesus was a Jew. What color is the skin of Jews? That's the color He was. It wasn't black. But the glorious thing is that Jesus came to save people of every race. All have sinned and all need the salvation He brings.

Why would anybody want to prejudice people one way or the other about the Lord on the basis of race? God have mercy! What next?
