Be Careful Whom You Trust |

| We are not trying to
discourage people from trusting others but only to take care and be
cautious about the matter. Not everyone who may seem to be trustworthy
will prove to be that way. Discovery may come too late and people get hurt
badly as a result.
In Judges chapter four we read how Barak defeated Sisera who fled to Jael whom he trusted. But once he was asleep she drove a tent spike through his head. He never got over it. He thought she was an ally. Big mistake! Betrayal is a sad but common event in humanity. Ask Christ. |
