For Real Unity

Unity is not agreeing to disagree. Nor should it be pretended. It cannot be founded on a faulty foundation. Paul tells us how to have real unity in Romans 15: 6, 7: likeminded, one mind, one mouth, receiving one another. Let there be no mistake that only in this united condition can God be truly glorified by His people.

When there exists the oneness the Lord wants, it is only logical that brethren will receive one another. Christ receives sinners when they become His disciples by casting away that which is foreign to the will of the Lord. Unity, real unity, is based upon people adopting the will of the Lord. The true foundation of unity must be God's truth.
