| Millions have great
hostility toward Muslims and some wonder why. It isn't because there is a
desire to persecute Muslims. There is willingness to allow Muslims to have
freedom of religion. But the problem stems from the attitude Muslims have
toward other people who are not Muslims. In the Quran (Surah 2:191) we
read, "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of
places where they drove you out, for persecution is worse than
slaughter." The "them" refers to those who are not Muslims.
Lest some doubt this is what Islam teaches, just observe who are the vast majority of terrorists in our world. Who is doing the suicide bombings? Who hijack airplanes and blow up embassies? Who shoots down unarmed soldiers and crashes airplanes into buildings? The answer is the same over and over again. Muslims! Who cannot see this is a barbaric religion determined on the extermination of everyone who rejects them?
