It Is Not Honesty

Can people change their minds? If they cannot, then there is no way to be converted to Christ. Changing your mind is not being double-minded. James 1: 8, "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." That is the person who holds to positions that are contradictory but still claims he is right both times and has not changed his mind.

Politicians do this all the time. They say this today and something opposite tomorrow. Often they go in opposite directions but still claim both are correct. Liberals always do this. Seldom does one admit either position to be wrong. Blatant dishonesty is the norm with some.

Not so with a true Christian. He is faithful and true in his faith and loyal to Christ at all costs, changing his mind when shown to be wrong. Honesty will not permit him to do otherwise.
