More Than Marriage

"Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers..." (2 Cor. 6: 14) is often applied to marriage and it should be. But marriage is not all that is included in this passage. While this passage does not forbid all association with unbelievers, it does forbid making such ties as would require unfaithfulness on the part of the Christian.

This situation could arise in a business relationship, even a family relationship, community efforts, occupational duties, recreation, anywhere and everywhere. Being a faithful Christian is first to the Christian. It most certainly includes religious ties.

We are in the world but not to be of the world. Some associations are strictly prohibited to a faithful child of God.
