Press On

Your age might help determine what you read. For instance, those of us who are "elderly" will focus on articles dealing with age and how to cope with situations unique to that period of life. While rereading a book which was read some years ago a wise notation was observed. It gave reference to Paul's comments in Philippians 3. He encouraged his brethren to be faithful and admitted he had not yet attained that for which he had been attained. He was not through yet. He had not reached his goal quite yet. There was more ahead. That is the way it is with the "elderly."

How did Paul advise those in that condition? Turn from the past and press on toward the mark! Can there really be a better way? With renewed vigor and optimism, the advise might be stated, "Keep on keeping on." That will get you to where you want and need to be.
