Seventy-Three and Counting |

| When you have the
opportunity to visit brethren in gospel meetings you get to meet some of
the best people on earth. It is a joy to be among faithful Christian
brethren and uphold the truth together.
I just returned from preaching in a gospel meeting. There was at that congregation a dear brother who had been married to his wife seventy-three years. That is quite a record. Faithful to God and each other has been the pattern of life for them. What a splendid example for us all. In this day when God's will concerning marriage is so often ridiculed and repudiated, is it not a joy to hear of such loyalty as exhibited by that good couple? |
