This Generation

Probably one might think there would follow some comment on the present generation, its conditions and future. But not this time! Much can be said about the present generation with mixed comments on the good and the evil.

The generation to which we refer explodes the false doctrines of the "signs of the times" false teachers. In Mark 13 and Matthew 24 Jesus gave signs that would precede the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans that did occur in AD70. The false teachers have taken those signs to denote the coming of the end of time. But there will be no such signs.

"This generation" to which Jesus referred were those living when He spoke. That which He foretold took place while some of that day were still alive. The signs He mentioned occurred just before AD70. But many have been led into sensational and false doctrines by distortions of His words.
