| Most of us have been
guilty of tossing the word "greatness" around without much
discretion. Anything that is exceptional is often called great. This is
true about events as well as persons. But who is a great person? God does
not measure people the way other people do. He looks for qualities that
men may overlook or do not consider too significant.
I am impressed with the information given about a certain woman in the Old Testament who is called "great." We read of her in Second Kings chapter four. You can learn why she was called great from a lesson on this website, Category eighteen, lesson Number 630. It would be worth the few short minutes for you to see the qualities that each of us need to develop so we could justifiably be called great.
Greatness in the sight of God really matters. We all can be great by imitating this woman.
