A Most Reasonable Warning |
||
The book of Romans
is a great doctrinal treatise on the faith of Jesus Christ. Possibly more
than any other single book do we find a presentation of God's system of
salvation through Christ. It touches on nearly all of the components of
God's scheme of redemption.
Having written for what we designate over fifteen chapters depicting this doctrine, Paul in chapter sixteen admonishes the marking of any who created division because of teaching contrary to that doctrine (Romans 16: 17, 18). The truth of God must be heard, believed and obeyed. How reasonable it is to expect brethren to remain loyal to what Paul has taught. Those who chose a different path should be shunned and refuted. They cannot be accepted but rejected and sent on their way. |
