A Near-Perfect Description |

How can
denominational clergymen be pegged? "Behold, I am against the
prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
Behold, I am against then that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and
do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their
lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them; therefore they shall
not profit this people at all, saith the Lord" (Jer. 23: 31, 32).
Today's clergymen have little use for Scripture. They seek their fame and finances and cater to the whims of the majority for their applause. Religious lies are their watchwords and they have no shame. Such people existed back then and still are evident today. |
