A Privilege For Our Good

If ever a Christian considers his presence at the worship services on Lord's Day to be merely a duty and fails to consider and recognize that it is a privilege and blessing, he has surely missed much of the will and way of Jesus Christ. While it is a duty to worship, it is a privilege to give praise and glory to God.

We strive to become more like what we adore and worship. When we worship God we express our desire to be more and more as He wants us to be.

Everything God has ever asked of man is for man's benefit. This has always been true. He calls upon us to worship Him so we will be lifted in thought and deed. May we learn to consider worship in this light and be thankful when the worship hour arrives.
