	A Promise to His Children
	We live in a world that is dominated by those who are enemies of God. That includes high level educational institutions, entertainers, government officials, media personnel, "fat cat" business moguls, on and on goes the list. Every day at almost every turn there is another invasion by lying liberals against our freedoms and the ravings of God-haters demanding everybody bow to them as god. The immediate future does not look good to those who subscribe to the way God would have us live. In spite of this (and this does not minimize the problems we face) the Christian enjoys all spiritual blessings because they are "in Christ" (Ephesians 1:3). In addition to the assurance of His providence we have that invaluable promise that awaits the faithful of eternal life in heaven where these enemies of God shall not exist and their harassment cannot reach us. "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (First John 2:25).
