A Very Sensitive Nerve

It has been suggested that the most sensitive nerve in the body is the one that runs from the heart to the pocketbook. Giving is a touchy subject to some because they do not want to give. While claiming to be conservative, the truth is, they are stingy.

The work of the Lord is too often curtailed because of a lack of funds due to the failure of brethren to give as taught in Scripture. It is discouraging to see error heavily funded but the truth goes begging.

Too often the Lord gets the "leftovers" after brethren have whatever they want first. Do we really think the Lord is pleased with that? Take a closer look at your giving. You may need to do better.
