Anything Goes

Many harsh and bitter words are directed against religion. There are those who look upon all religion, especially that which makes up the confused denominational world, as a farce and money-making fraud. They see the lack of conviction, consistency and sincerity. They see religion changing and swaying with the trends rather than standing firm in the revelations of the Lord.

Some think religion ought to change with the times. They have never appreciated the Biblical truth that the times must be brought into conformity with the will of God. Pure religion does not attempt to change God and His will to fit whatever man wants. Men must change according to God's will.

Many have adopted the "do your own thing" philosophy as the norm. What is accepted is accepted because it suits people. Anything goes whether it is with Biblical authority or not. But that is not the way of truth we must follow if we please the Lord.
