Avoid to Prevent |
||
It is better to
prevent than to have to cure. There are ways of temptation that. when
followed, can damn the soul. Avoiding these ways is a mark of true wisdom.
Christian people avoid situations and company of those who use each other for selfish and sensual gratifications. Christians work at being pure and untarnished. Christian young people wish to enter marriage pure and married Christians wish to remain so. When a person truly loves another he will not push for such things that will cause sin and he avoids those who wish to use each other for sinful purposes. Scars of regret have been carved into many lives that will be taken to the grave because the evils of company and places were not avoided even though warnings galore were given. Don't let it happen to you. Thankfully there is forgiveness. But regret may harass you the rest of your life. |
