But You Can Trust the Lord |
||
There are many
people I can trust in addition to my immediate family. The man who
services my car is really trustworthy. The man who fixed my brakes is the
same. I trust my grocer and my doctor. I even trust my insurance man, many
drivers I meet on the highway, and my good brethren. But when asked to
name some government authority or branch of government I trust, well,
don't rush me, I trying to think of somebody.
The way politicians can blast each other then love each other, say one thing today and something different tomorrow, and people are so naive and stupid enough to trust them, it is amazing. But you can always trust God to keep His Word and also His warnings. He always is faithful. For that reason we must place our confidence on Him and His will and not that of any man. |
