Cannot Be Overemphasized |

| Possibly there are
some things that could be mentioned too much and given a place of
importance that distorts the truth. But God's grace and man's obedient
faith cannot be overemphasized. Without both there is no salvation for
man.
Some complain we stress obedience too much. But I find it necessary to persuade men to obey the gospel, don't you? How can they be saved apart from it? God is gracious regardless of us so I just need to remind people of it. But man needs to favorable respond to the call of His grace and that is something we must constantly do with fervor. That being true I wonder why some want to do away with extending the Lord's invitation at worship services. They have missed something important. You cannot overemphasize God's plea to man to come to Him through Christ. |
