Cannot Rely on Government

Regardless of the political party, neither one is dependable to protect our nation. They are too concerned with their own power, gain and votes. The citizens of this country are helpless before enemies determined to destroy us. How desperately we need leaders who will defend the nation. Some try. Others undermine every effort made to secure the land. Nothing works because the government is unreliable.

But Christians, we can rely on God whatever may come our way. We do not know all the ways God works in His providence but we are sure He cares for His people. This may not mean national preservation. It may be quite the other way. But we seek our reward in heaven, not on this earth depending upon man.

At every turn vicious enemies of Christianity seem to be making headway. We must keep our faith strong and pray God's will prevails.
