God gave the people
of Judah a choice. "When the righteous turneth from his
righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. But if
the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and
right, he shall live thereby," (Ezek. 33: 18,19). God gives us the
same choice in principle now.
The bottom line in our relationship with God is, even though He has provided for our salvation, we must make the choice to follow His way or deprive ourselves of His blessings. Really now, is that so difficult to understand? Yet, some religionists contend we have no part in our salvation. Do we have a part in our condemnation? Truth is, we have a part in whichever one we choose. |
