Family Ties

Nearly every family has ties one to another that are stronger than anything outside the family. It is most unfortunate when there are breaks in these family ties and strife and even hatred seems to develop. But most do not only consider a family member as special but is generally prejudiced in favor of family members. Is not this the way it should be?

There is a family tie stronger than the physical family and that is the spiritual family of God. Jesus taught this in Matthew 12.

One thing that will certainly strengthen family ties is the birth of another family member. This seems so obvious it ought not have to be mentioned; especially when the new family member is also a great grandson, which we are expecting most any day now.

A person who has a good family that is tied to God and each other is one of the most blessed people in the world. Everyone needs a family like this.
