Give Heed to the Prophet |

| If only the people
of our nation would abandon the nothingness of atheists, sensualists, the
self-serving powers, the covetous and defiant and give heed to the words
written by Isaiah many years ago. Isaiah 60: 12, "For the nation and
kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be
utterly wasted." Why do people not listen to God's warning?
Does not the history of the ancients provide sufficient testimony to see the truthfulness of the message? What more do we need to understand that the way the present nation travels will only lead to destruction? Why should we think we shall be the first nation to repeal the law of sowing and reaping? Isaiah echoes the similar thought of Proverbs 14: 34, "Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is the reproach to any people." Christian brethren, we have our work before us to declare God's riches to the world. Let us not neglect our calling. |
