God Said He Is

It comes down to deciding who is to be believed. The claim is made by many in the Bible, including Christ, that He is the Son of God. Today, as has been historically true, there are those who deny His identity as the Son of God.

While the evidence that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God as far as the Biblical record is concerned is overwhelmingly one-sided there remain those who defiantly refuse to accept the evidence. Some are even so inconsistent and contradictory that they will contend Jesus was a good person but a liar because He claimed to be God's Son. How could He be good and a liar about such an important matter as that?

But hear what God the Father has said. Twice He specifically and explicitly confessed, "This is my beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased" (Matt. 4: 17; 17: 5). Does that not settle the matter? Certainly it does. It matters not what anybody else says. That's it. End of discussion.
