God Sees It As It Really Is

Man looks only on the outward appearance because that is all he is capable of doing. But outward appearance can be deceiving, misleading and does not always reveal the true situation or person.

One may have good intentions and do something wrong. Another may appear to do something worthy but all the while he has an evil motive behind it. Man can only see the outward. In both instances there is wrong but what a difference in the heart.

But God does not look as man does. God sees the outward and the inward (1 Sam. 16: 7). God knows whether or not our hearts are pure as they should be. We may deceive other people but we shall never deceive the Lord.
