Hard to Believe |

| Is it possible for a
reasonably intelligent person to be a member of a church for twenty years
and not know much of anything it teaches? He may not agree with what is
taught but if he has a brain he at least knows what is taught.
Do you think a member of the Lord's church could be a member of the Lord's church for twenty years and know know the church teaches the necessity of baptism for salvation? He has heard if many times if gospel preaching has come from the pulpit. Yet, there is one in the political arena who has been a member of a church for twenty years and just now acts shocked at what their church and pastor teaches and upholds. Who could believe that he did not know? He may disagree but to deny he knew is just beyond believing. |
