He Cannot Win |

Just suppose for a
moment that the person who denies Christ is right. Has he gained anything
at all? From what source will come his spiritual blessings? Of course, he
doesn't care about such things. So he gains nothing by his denial even if
he is right. But what if he is wrong (as he is). Look at what he loses. No
gain! All loss! What a "bargain" for those who deny the Son of
God. And they call themselves "wise."
"Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God. But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God" (Luke 12:8, 9). On the other hand, those who confess Christ have God's blessings to gain. What if he is wrong (but he isn't). Has he suffered any loss whatsoever? It looks like people who claim to be intelligent would not react so stupidly when it comes to the Savior of mankind. Ah! Man's great and unsurpassed "wisdom". |
