He Was So Sure |

A number of years
ago I had an encounter on television with a pervert who sought to ridicule
the Bible because there were accounts in it of sordid conduct. Why that
should have surprised him I never could detect. God's revelation to man
includes things to do as well as things not to be done with reports of
instances of both kinds. One is commended and the other is condemned. This
degenerate blasphemer had never considered it.
Those who attack the Bible are scared of its message because their conduct will bring their doom. So they fight it. And how much of it have they changed? How much have they shown to be false? They are so sure their vulgar venom against God's Word is adequate. But when pressed, they melt like snow in a hot oven. (This guy, a medical professional, left town shortly thereafter.) |
