His Bout With Doubt |

| It is so encouraging
to meet an honest man who will investigate the evidence of the existence
of God. Some years ago I talked with just such a scientist professor at a
very prominent state university. He was a geneticist. For years he
accepted the theory of evolution because that is all he had studied. But
he acknowledged that the more he studied the more he realized the folly
of believing the intricate and precise details of our body just
happened without design. His study led him to the conviction, "There
is a God."
Believing this, he began his study to know God and eventually became a Christian. He remained a geneticist and taught many years. But his battle against the forces of error proved to be his great victory. He died "in Christ." Many are not honest enough to even investigate the evidence, let alone accept the conclusions demanded by what is discovered. |
