Is Divorce That Rampant?
  Recently at a football game all seniors of the squad, cheerleaders, band members, etc. were introduced with their parents. It was amazing how many youngsters had a different name from those introduced as "parents." Certainly some parents had died and there had been remarriages; hence stepfathers and stepmothers. But when you see three or four people standing as "parents" of the youngsters you know the young person comes from a broken home. And such instances were almost as numerous as those whose last names were the same as the parents.

  This indicates to me how destructive divorce is and how many children never know a home as God intended. Many "adults" have much for which to answer because their selfishness destroyed the home of their own children.
