Is It This Way Everywhere?

It seems with many people they can claim whatever they wish regardless of what they do, say or believe. I read of one who denies the resurrection of Christ but claims to be a Christian. Another, a homosexual, claims to be loyal to Christ. "Just make your claim and do as you please" has become the standard.

It's that way most everywhere. "I am a loyal American. But I just work against it." "I am a Republican who votes for the Democrat." Catholics have a bad time with this. Many claim they are Catholics but hold to very little of the Catholic faith. Who Christ is and what He taught makes little impression on many people but they claim to be His disciples anyway.

With this kind of blatant dishonesty, how can people be converted to truth? Blind defiance is the rule.
