It Can Hurt So Badly |

| Beginning with Eden
man has been able to communicate with his fellows with ability to speak.
So much is taught in God's Word about the proper use of the tongue because
it can be a deadly weapon.
"There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword," (Prov. 12: 18a). So much hurt and harm can be and is done by the misuse of the tongue. It need not be that way. "But the tongue of the wise is health," (Prov. 12: 18b). So much good can be done with the tongue. Especially is it a blessing when it is used to tell others the glorious story of salvation through Christ. Should we not examine how we use our tongue? |
