It is Supposed to be Different |
||
Being a Christian
means you live your life differently from the ways of the world. You abhor
evil and cleave to good. It is not intended to be different just to be
different. It is supposed to be different for the sake of righteousness.
The pathway of sin requires no knowledge, discipline, standards or anything except, as humanists teach, do whatever you feel like doing. But the Christian has a purpose in life and a pattern for serving. If he lives like most others he is failing in his responsibility to the Lord. Take today for example (Sunday). The faithful Christian will spend some time in authorized worship to God. The world may continue in sin, or even doing many things not necessarily sinful but things which displace worship. How will it be for you this Lord's Day? Will God be pleased? |
