It Ought to Sober Us |
||
It surely seems so
many people hurry and scurry through life as if what they say and do does
not really make any difference anyway. Of course, this would be true if
the lawless evolutionist foolishness were true. It does matter because
there will come the day of judgment (2 Cor. 5: 10) and everybody will then
be convinced life matters. Meanwhile, most shut their eyes and ears and
"do their own thing" as if one thing is as good as another.
Moses warned some tribes of Israel that if they did not do as they agreed and sinned against God and their fellow countrymen, "Be sure you sins will find you out" (Number 32: 23). Paul wrote a similar thought in Galatians 6:7,8 about sowing and reaping. Sin can only be covered by the blood of Christ. Otherwise, we shall know the wrath of a benevolent and righteous God. Why so many people think they can go their own way and defy Him is appalling. |
