It Was Universal |
||
We won't go into all
the evidences that the flood at the time of Noah was a universal flood;
but just present one. The Bible says so. That settles it. 2 Pet. 3:6,
"Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water,
perished." "And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth;
and all the high hills that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail, and the mountains were
covered" (Gen. 7:19,20). What is difficult to understand about that?
But here come along a pack of self-acclaimed "scholars" who think they are wiser than God and decree this was all a fable and myth. Then some peanut pseudo-scientists shout the same thing so they can be considered "scholarly" in spite of running headlong against science, archeology and the Bible. "Experts" have a talent of showing themselves to be fools. The burning up of the world at the end of time will be as universal as the flood (2 Pet. 3:7-12). If the flood was not universal, wonder where we could find a spot that's "fireproof?" Maybe more than eight souls were saved during the flood (1 Pet. 3:20). What does God know? Ask a seminary infected "scholar." He is a lot more "educated" than God. |
