The Lord and Politicians |

| It is so glaringly
obvious that no honest person misses it. With few exceptions most
politicians cannot be trusted. They lie, cheat, steal take bribes,
find ways to line their pockets at public expense. They feel no shame that
they betray their oath to serve but crown themselves as gods. Listen to
their prattle. They will say anything to get elected. Their word changes
from day to day. For the most part the only reliable thing about them is
that they are not reliable and only seek their own interests.
How different from the Savior of men who remains the same now and forever. We can depend on His Word and His promises. What is so bewildering is how many people jump in behind a low-life double-talking politician but have no time for the pure and perfect Son of God. So be it! But we all shall be judged by Him the last day. |
