More Ways to Lie Than Just One |
||
A once faithful
brother turned liberal likes to bash the church. He wrote a piece about
how he thought his obedience earned him God's grace. He tried to leave the
impression that the cross was seldom taught and then used a wide
fallacious brush to suggest that all brethren taught the distorted concept
of salvation which he accepted.
Just because he got fouled up doesn't damn the brotherhood. To even attempt to leave such an impression is to create a lie against the church that liberals like to propagate. Will God overlook such deliberate deception and misrepresentation? I doubt it. Meanwhile, we need to be aware of such people and know that they can lie in a multitude of ways. They must think they were the first to understand grace and the cross and that makes them super Christians. Liberals pour out such nonsense. |
