The Mother of All Living |

| Many people do not
know who their parents are. There are several reasons why this is true.
But everybody can know who is the Mother of everyone. That, of course, is
Eve, the wife of Adam, the fist woman, created from his rib as recorded in
Genesis. She came into existence to be a help meet (suitable) for Adam
because nothing else of creation would do. They were told to
"be fruitful and multiply, and replenish (supply) the earth..."
(Gen. 1:28) and they did. In a sense the wife of Noah is also the Mother
of all living but Eve was first.
Tragically she was deceived and brought sin into the world. But because of Adam and Eve Paul could write that God "hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth..." (Acts 17:26). |
