Name Change |

| Some say names do
not matter. They think this way in no area of life except religion. In
religion anything goes with them. That is why we have so many varying
names of churches. People want what they want, God's will notwithstanding,
and so they inconsistently and stupidly say names do not matter.
Names must matter to God. Genesis 32: 28, "And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel." Why did God change his name? He did that with Abram and Sarai earlier. Names must mean something to God. Isn't it a shame that some do not have the same attitude toward names as God has? |
