Neither Were They |
||
Romans chapter one
tells about those who got so smart they decided to cast off God. Their
concern was only for the here and now and the satisfaction of their own
degenerate appetites. In other words, they were like millions today. Verse
twenty-one says, like God-haters today, "Neither were thankful."
When we read of the concerns people have it is almost always tilted toward materialism, not truth, morality, decency, spiritual welfare and such like. Most are like their animals. They think they are just animals and they live on that level. In the midst of grave concerns, we should be thankful for the blessings God has bestowed upon us. We show ourselves very sick if we be ungrateful. |
