"We Are So Blessed" |
||
The man and his wife
were standing in front of their television set. He told her he had lost
his job, the payment on their mortgage was due and they had no money for
it, many bills were unpaid, and their car had been stolen. Yet he
remarked, "We are so blessed." It so happens that they were
viewing the conditions of death and destruction in the aftermath of the
recent earthquake in Hayti and realized how blessed they were in spite of
hardships pressing upon them.
When we see what many have to suffer we ought be ashamed to complain. Many of Israel who came out of Egypt murmured and complained themselves right out of entering the Promised Land. |
