No Better Plan

Contrary to the thinking of liberals, there is a plan involved regarding our giving. People have invented all sorts of ways to raise money for the church that they evidently think surpasses the plan God has given us. They may raise money, but they show a disregard for the authority of God.

All the gimmicks, gadgets and ploys of men do not equal the heart-touching plan of God. Free-will offering, given cheerfully, liberally, as purposed and as prospered has always been the way God expects the work to be financed. In this way we honor God with our substance and show our love for Him.

This "anything goes" kind of religion can follow whatever path they choose. But those who respect God will follow what He teaches in His Word and be content therewith. How about you?
