Our club is getting
bigger and bigger. More of us are living longer; probably longer than many
of us expected. As one commented, "If I had known I would live this
long I would have taken better care of myself." But it is a blessing
to be among the eighty-year-olds. I reached that today. You don't
particularly care, but it is a big deal for me.
I got a church bulletin today from another state that had a filler in it that said, "Now that I have learned to make the most of life, most of it is gone." By reason of health we may reach fourscore and if you are really fortunate you might add to that a few years. It is an easy day to remember. Everybody in the nation has to remember it. April 15th- taxes are due. The moaning and weeping I hear I hope is because of taxes, not me. But there is one fact of which I am certain. We sing it often. "The Lord has been mindful of me." May He bless you, too! |
