Out of the Mouth of Babes

  This is not just another grandfather story. While visiting with us recently our nearly four year old granddaughter was standing beside me as I worked on my computer. I did something wrong and messed up. She said, "You better be careful or you will get into trouble." (She had probably heard that at some time in her long life.)

  Paul said it this way. "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall"  (1 Cor. 10:12). Isn't that about the same admonition? Indeed, "out of the mouth of babes..." (Psalm 8: 2) came forth words of divine wisdom. We cannot be took alert and careful seeing the nature and goal of our enemy (1 Pet. 5: 8).
