Paul Was Convinced |
||
We are "more
than conquerors." Nothing "shall be able to separate us from the
love of God..." He was not speaking of man's love for God but God's
love for man. Of this Paul was persuaded or convinced (Romans 8: 37-39.
God's love for us has been demonstrated repeatedly and He seeks our highest good. That is what real love is and does. Neither life, death or anything else will succeed in making God cease to seek our highest good. While He may not always approve of someone, He will never cease to love everyone. Especially is this true concerning the Christian because the Christian belong to God. Notice the last of verse thirty-nine teaches that such a blessing belongs especially to those "in Christ Jesus our Lord." People deprive themselves of Deity's greatest gifts if they do not become Christians. We need to send this message to all the world and pray that some will hear, believe and obey. |
