Pro-Life and Pro-Choice |
||
Our title presents
two labels with which most are familiar in the battle over abortion.
Pro-life means one respects the dignity of human life and opposes
murdering unborn children. Pro-choice means one thinks is acceptable to
murder unborn children if considered desirable. God hates the shedding of
innocent blood and that settles that (Prov. 6: 17).
Moses came before his people and set forth both life and death, then urged them, "Therefore choose life..." In this instance he recognized their power to choose but also insisted they choose wisely and correctly. All of us have to make many choices in the course of life. Some decisions could lead to eternal death while others lead to eternal life. Christ came to give life to all that would come to Him and follow faithfully. We plead with everyone to exercise their choice for life. |
