Rejected by His Own |

| Jesus Christ was
Deity in the flesh. He came to the world to save all people from the
ravages of sin. He died to pay the penalty on man's behalf. He provided
the perfect example for successful living and gave infallible instructions
how to deal with others. Everything He did was good and for the benefit of
man. "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the
world knew him not. He came unto his own and his own received him
not"" (John1:10, 11).
But there were those who did receive Him and there are those who receive Him now. The rejection of Him by most does not invalidate His Deity nor dismiss His mission to save. If we would be spiritual children of God we must believe in Him, Those who believe have the power to become God's children. Genuine faith will lead to obedience and then sinful man will be the beneficiary of what the Christ came to accomplish. |
