The Same Everywhere |

The Bible teaches
that religious error is in the world. "Beloved, believe not every
spirit but try the spirits whether they be of God; because many false
prophets are gone out into the world" (1 John 4: 1).
Why does religious error thrive? It ought to be apparent to any reasonable kind that the division, confusion, contradiction of religious views cannot all be right. God is not the author of confusion. He does not lead men in opposite directions at the same time. Nor does He approve of man deciding to go whatever way man wants to go. God's truth is the same the world over. While there are many differences in this world, "the word of the Lord endureth forever". Man cannot and will not improve on it nor change it. It is his obligation to learn it, believe it and obey it. It matters. |
