Selfish, Don't You Think?

  Paul was commending Timothy and showing how different he was from some others who sought what they wanted more than what Christ wants. I suppose such people have been around for years on end and exist today. But is not that sad commentary on a person who prefers to follow his wants and ideas rather than that of the Son of God?

  Just how much pain and grief is caused the church because of such an attitude cannot be measured but surely it causes grief to those who want to put Christ and His church first.

  Our goal should be, not MY way, or YOUR way, but HIS way. Agreeing with this is one thing. Living accordingly is something else.
