Something Nobody Can Do

John 5: 23 teaches we cannot honor the Father without honoring the Son. One had just as soon attempt to honor the Father and not honor the Son as to attempt to honor the Father and not give proper respect to that which the Son built, for which He died, and which He is the Savior. Yet, many do not have proper respect for the church revealed in the New Testament.

Some say the church does not matter. You hear is said, "One church is as good as another." Some even contend you can be saved in any church you choose.

We should avoid becoming victims of the terrible mistakes that have produced the chaotic and confused denominational world. When we speak as the oracles of God (1 Pet. 4: 11) we will honor the Father and the Son and the church He saves. And that is not just any church people may choose.
